How to apply

When a new VPS is available it will be posted in the Announcements section as a new thread. When this happens, post your request in the VPS Requests subforum. Include your score and which VPS(s) you want in the order you would prefer them in the title. You may change your VPS once in a period of two weeks!

Example title:

If a VPS 3 VPS 2 and VPS 1 are open and you would prefer a VPS 3 but a VPS2 would work and a VPS 1 won't:

VPS 3 or VPS 2 Request - dmmcintyre3 - 12346.78

Put the VPS numbers in the title in the order you would prefer to get them. If you don't want a specific VPS, don't include it. VPS's are given out after 24 hours of posting the thread.

What is not allowed?

In addition to the policies of the provider and the additional restrictions, you are not allowed to resell/redistribute the services in full or directly contact the host for support. Directly contacting the host will result in you loosing your VPS. One VPS per member, no exceptions!

Requirements to get a VPS:

  • 5,000 points
  • 30 posts
  • 0 or a positive reputation
  • 0% warning level

If you live in a country the US has a current trade sanction against, we cannot give you a VPS.

There is no waiting list. When the time comes to give away another VPS, it will go to the person who wants it with the highest score calculated by the following formula:
R = reputation O = points P = posts

P+O/200+R•3


If you meet the minimum requirements, you will have a score of 55.

To keep the VPS you must:
  • make at least 20 posts per month
  • Show proof of using your VPS
  • Keep your warning level below 50%
  • Meet the special requirements of the VPS you have.
