Oracle's jre (as well as OpenJDK's jre) has better performance. I would only ibm's if you have <384mb of ram.

obviously the more commonly used one will perform better, but why does ibm's jre work on low amounts of ram.

I'm guessing it's pretty much the same reason why Apache is "better", but uses more memory.

I would better use McMyAdmin CP. It lists you also in the public server list.

Spam? What do you mean by spam? I need free host!

Yeah but a lot of the VPS's here have less than 384 mb of ram so he should probably list both

It uses a different memory management model and garbage collection algorithm because ibm wanted it to run on everything from cellphones to full-blown servers. Oracle has Java ME so they didn't need to or want to worry about low mem environments and instead focus on desktops/servers where memory is cheap.

Kind of. They both support pretty much the same things (unlike apache vs nginx or whatever), but they are tuned differently; Oracle's/OpenJDK's jre is arguably more optimized for desktops/servers.

RE: [EASY TUT]How to install a Minecraft server on your VPS!
Lol . This is such basic knowledge . Btw

Code:
Yum install java
Yum install screen

Also works instead for wget or what ever .

It's also possible to SFTP client files over , other than just getting the vanilla one , a person could get bukkit , or other server mod's.
This is not a newb friendly tutorial . Seems
More like a way to get more points .

Thanks FreeVps and PyramidServer for the VPS2 !

Step 1 - Get a domain .
Step 2 - Redesign the website
Step 3 - Configure nginx
Step 4 - ENJOY !~
