Weird... VNC and Firefox and another app (uses about 312MB on my other VPS) runs smoothly on HostGator's level 1 VPS which has only 384MB of RAM. My other VPS with 512 RAM and 2gb burst runs VNC and firefox at around 1.95gb Shocked

It works on my 256MB RAM VPS with 55MB to spare, but alot of stuff crashed, terminal doesnt work! It is useless!

Rgat's a bit extreme... In my 2 gb vps usage gets at +-400MB, while real one 295mb.

This also depends if your vps is xen or openvz.

My CentOS server gives the following:

Did I do anything wrong?

your image is not loading. Is this the VPS from here or something else. It won't work if it's the VPS from here.

It's a VPS from here, but why wouldn't it work then?

not enough ram.

Ah. Dammit.

If you really want a GUI for your VPS stick with VNC + a bare minimum window manager (like Openbox or dwm).

Though I recommend against it given the limited ram you have.

IceVM works fine with my 256MB RAM VPS, but Firefox doesn't have enough RAM!
