RE: Google kicked .CO.CC out from search results
Tongue The reason why .co.cc domains are not being indexed by google anymore is because it is actually a subdomain. The extention or suffix for the domains is actually .cc not .co.cc. Because google banned one subdomain it therefore means that all of the other will not be indexed either because google automatically bans the domain. :'D

I am also glad that google no longer index .co.cc domains as they are well known for their pornographic and malicious content Wink

I suggest looking at my free .co.uk thread or get a .tk domain if you live outside of the UK as suggested by biasa199.

Hope this helps

RE: Google kicked .CO.CC out from search results
I am hosting my church's website through a free co.cc domain, and i just searched it in google, and luckily its still there, please don't freak me out like that, even though i am shifting from free to paid hosting, and getting a paid domain name(TLD), i dont want this to happen so soon.

For those that are wondering, Google are now indexing all new .co.cc websites, you have to get it re-indexed. Then it should work Smile

Hmm why was there a change in policy?

Google is becoming inconsistent in its policy

RE: Google kicked .CO.CC out from search results
CO.CC General Manager James Kin filed a complaint to google.
He also said Google should delist .blogspot just to be fair.. lol
In the end CO.CC won, but the fact google can do anything remains.
