Yea ! I didn't know Yum could delete/remove fileystem ... Wow that mist be scary , have the VPS killed just like that.

filesystem is only an issue if you don't have enough ram. A VPS 11 should be fine.

What's wrong with tzdata? The only thing I can think of is problems on low mem systems as well.

Edit: the filesystem rpm does not do what you think. It just creates a the standard dirs on your system to be FHS compliant. It won't destroy anything if it is removed.
