Firefox "Tilt 3D" Add-on
This addon for Firefox renders web pages in 3d, showing the layers of a web page, how elements are stacked on top of each other. It looks really cool, and you can probably impress the geeky girls. Aside from that, it does have some practical use in figuring out why elements appears as they do. You can find Tilt 3D for Firefox here.

From the add-on page, near the bottom, under "Version Information":
Quote:Works with Firefox 6.0 - 12.0a1

This is rather... useless. Except "figuring out why elements appears as they do" which sounds acceptable. But how often do you use that feature? I guess not once a day, a week or a month.

I don't install stuff to speed down my browser unnecessarily.

Granted, I don't use it much. But when I do use it, it comes in handy. And it doesn't slow down the browser until you activate it.

Shame it requires WebGL, although I think I'll try it once I've messed it about. Thanks for the share!

Tilt 3d is probably one of the best firefox addon. It is a fun and new firefox extension focused on creating a 3D visualization of a webpage. It is useful to view everything online in 3D. As a hobbyist 3d artist, I really enjoy working with new ways of visualizing things. Its really cool!!

Looks like a version of this is in the latest Firefox Nightlies. It looks pretty cool, but I'm not sure how useful it actually is.
