RE: VPS18
Login into your SolusVM Control Panel and try to boot it.

That did it for me.

But I've already PM'ed BreatHost as Murderwrecker advised, maybe he is looking into the problem now, I'll just wait for his reply, if the permission problem could not be fixed, probably he will recommend a reinstall.

Thanks FreeVPS.us! for the free VPS and for all the knowledge that I've learned here at the forum.

RE: VPS18
Hey there,

There's currently a server administrator looking over each VM, I hope he can get this solved.

@Murderwrecker Your backup seems to be on the VPS now, let me know if you need it and I will PM you the details for the download.

@all Just PM me if you need a backup and I will enable the quick backup function for your VPS.

Everyone who requested a upgrade has been upgraded. It's 256MB ram, 256MB vSWAP (totally 512MB), 50GB disk space and 500gb bandwidth.

RE: VPS18
I for one, need only the RAM upgrade. But I would be delighted to accept both upgrades with both my hands and eyes closed. ;)

RE: VPS18
Great to hear that things should be back up and running, however I'm still having issues. I tried SSHing in, and as others, I got permission problems no matter what I tried. Since I didn't have anything on the VPS, I did a re-install to Ubuntu 11.04 32-bit. It seemed to work, but now the VPS won't boot. Any ideas?
Hmmm... seems to be working now. I managed to boot it, but at first still couldn't log in through SSH. From the looks of it, that was because the IP has changed, so I used the IP listed in SolusVM and got in. Is it too late for the upgrade?

Best regards,

RE: VPS18
Do you know what could be the reason of the attack? I guess that only 1 IP/address was attacked, since it's hard to ddos entire hosting company?

Limitations are limitless.

I had the same problem as well, its all fixed right now. And I think backups not done yet as am having low download speeds :/

Edit: Everything's working as it is.
