RE: [HELP] Windows 7
If you have a larger external drive or a partitioned drive, try copying all your important data and files from your pc to the drive and then try re installing Windows again.
You can then move your files back and start all over. If problem persists, then you could be attacked by a virus ![]() Well, i think IMITATING is so IRRITATING! What do you think? ![]() Share with us - www.FBTPlanet.tk where reality exists! - the only planet!

RE: [HELP] Windows 7
I know just the thing. Follow these steps:
1.Shut down your computer. 2. Turn it on and keep pressing F8. 3.Select Repair Your Computer. 4.Select your languadge. 5.Select your user account. 6.Click the last button which is Recovery. 7.Choose Completely restore to factory settings. 8.Your computer will be restored. NOTE: 1.You will loose all files so back them up. 2.Make sure you have your charger and it is plugged in because this will take some time. And yes, i have used this method myself before. Not too long ago. |

RE: [HELP] Windows 7
That's such good method! Almost the same idea, but does this method require installation cd?

RE: [HELP] Windows 7
Download a free version of system mechanic. iolo.com
Do a complete system scan and it will show all the problems with your system. It will scan registry for corruption and optimize your drives. It will clear temporary files and and boost system performance. I have this same problem but for me the explorer shows up after some time like 1 minute. It started only recently. I am going to try CCcleaner soon. I think the only solution might be system format. You can try this though. Look at your system restore and look for a version of system restore that dates way back in time. You wont lose all your files that way. If all else fails backup all your file in a portable HDD or a seperate partition in your system. Format your pc using a system disk. You can try look in windows 7 forums there are many people who have this same problem. Hope this helps. Pm me if you need any help! "Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new." RE: [HELP] Windows 7
You can try a livecd to see if its your hardware or software. I'd guess its your software though.
Have you tried safe mode yet? Does explorer start up fine through that? |
