Well, first of all I see 2 flaws:
1) if it requires a valid card and/or payment, it should be automated. There are thousands of other automated hosts out there. For a dedicated or higher, these kinds of measures are OK, but for a virtual machine, it's just a waste of precious time. The message posted above it's just a way to say "sorry we do not have anymore trials available go pay us or look elsewhere". If you don't have a card or can't purchase dollars due to high currency fees and so on, this is out of the question.
2) The price. If you don't have all that money or if you have it but don't want to spend it all, consider again. Unmanaged VPS for $39? Nuts. ( http://www.atum.com/unmanaged_vps.php ). Plus if US Dollar isn't your home money, then your SOL. I prefer to contact one of the providers at LEB and ask for a sponsorship. My post above is what they say. I seriously doubt they will give you a free trial VPS.

This is expensive, really expensive and the specs for this money are too low.

For 39$ I could pay a few good VPS every month. Considering about closing this as they still reject or have trials left.

You need provide your real personal information to get a trial VPS.
Notice: They will get mail ask you for Credit Card if you want get trial from them.

I requested for a trail, got an email to fill out some more information, just waiting now to be honest, worries me to hear that some people here say it may be fake, we'll see if one of us get's a trail

Well I do not think we will get's a trail VPS from Atum,flaws,even moderators.
Much more bad comments regarding this.
