Nice tutorial, this also works on other webhosting sites, try some new sites that aren't very professional, my friend got like 3 vps's from providers on several sites and used them together for like a year, a domain would last much longer.
I hope some people will read this reply and try it out with webhosting sites etc.

Just try it out, maybe on some sites outside your country, try hostingsites in russia, germany, the Netherlands etc, I'm sure there'll be a few working

It only gives you a domain and hosting for one year.

You have to put in a credit card which I can't do so basically it's not free for me

In India Google collaborated with host gator as in U.S they collaborated with intuit. They offer one year services totally free. From the next year they ask for money.

They(Google) ask for credit card for verification purposes as in india they ask PAN number for verification purpose. I already have a website from Google (http://www.indiagetonline.in) totally free for one year now in second year I have renewed it.
