Brain Test
This cool test got shared to me on Facebook.
I didn't get no explanation on where to start. But you gotta figure out the answer.

I'm not entirely sure of the accuracy about the opening statement. I don't see pre-school kids figuring it out any time fast. It took me about 5 minutes and I would say I meet Programmer + Higher Education.

Post your answer below!!

So you get a fair chance at this game, I'm going to add loads of white space at the end of this post. So you won't accidently read a reply and figure the answer out. So before a moderator get's their ban hammer out, that's why there's loads of white space.

RE: Brain Test
I got that. It's 0. It took me 38 seconds to search Google and find out the answer.

Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.

RE: Brain Test
from 2172, we know that 1 = 0 / 2 = 0 / 7 = 0
from 3213, we know that 3 = 0
from 5555, we know that 5 = 0
from 7662, we already know that 7 = 0, 2 = 0, so we got that 6 = 1
from 1012, we already know that 1 = 0, 2 = 0, so we got that 0 = 1
from 9999, we know that 9 = 1 (4x 9 = 4, so 1x 9 = 1)
from 8809, we already know that 0 = 1, 9 = 1, so we got that 8 = 2

so...
0 = 1
1 = 0
2 = 0
3 = 0
5 = 0
6 = 1
7 = 0
8 = 2
9 = 1

so 2581 = 0 + 0 + 2 + 0 = 2

there is another way to do too!
just see how many circle are in the numbers Big Grin
like 8, there are 2 circles~

RE: Brain Test
Doraemon pretty much nailed it Smile
I didn't think to count the circles in the numbers, but even you if you break down the code to it, you can calculate the answer Tongue

RE: Brain Test
lol, i saw this before so the answer got in my mind just in a second Big Grin , by the way this is very important to know that if you show these to someone who doesn't know english numbers (can count but doesn't know english alphabets and numbers) will tell you the answer a lot faster than anyone who knows english numbers, this is because sometimes having more knowledge gets your simplicity away !
