I guess you are in illegal business or something and that's why you are afraid to have your name in domain whois or whatever.

Smile Funny. I get all my public domains (http,mail,dns) with Full Names and all rest supporters domains as private. You say all who want a private domain are illegal? Smile

I see no other reason why you would hide your identity on a legal domain where you run a legal site.

Some freelance developers looking secure his privacy or bloggers and any do illegal activity. Or simply as anti-spam policy

If it is for a personal blog or a forum whois privacy would be a good precaution against spammers, but if your running a business online, well you got to show and let your clients verify you or your company's identity. One wouldn't just trust Mr. "X" or company "B" just because you got a domain/website.

I got a $1 domain from them couple of months ago, though most of their emails regarding their promos that I've received are limited time offer, so I don't know if this is still valid.
