RE: Saving passwords with your browser
@Megamax: If you're really that concerned about your passwords, just remember them or just put it inside a password protected excel document and keep it hidden.

RE: Saving passwords with your browser
The safest way to store password is in your grey matter. It is safe at least for now and unless highly accurate brain reading things are developed.

Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.

There's a tradeoff between security and useability. If you have to remember all these passwords then you're going to get less work done Tongue although it may not be as "safe", it's a lot easier to remember something like a phrase instead of a bunch of passwords.

Nobody can see your password from *saved password directroy* on your browser or PC/laptop untill he/she use you'r pc/laptop, if someone can steal your files from your hard-disk via internet, then he can also hack your password from browser Tongue joking, nobody can do this

I am sure, nobody from internet can get your passwords from browser untill they have access on your pc or you are using browser, made by hackers, thats why there are softwares like internet security.

You don't need to use hacker-made browsers for these. Vulnerablities like Escalations and remote code executions are enough for stealing data from major browsers if found.
