You are telling him to disable the firewall to save an unsignificant amount of RAM but leave himself open for attacks of hackers?

I would atleast replace the Windows firewall with a better firewall that is lightweight in memory usage.

I second your second option. The default Windows firewall causes nothing but problems.

For people who can't use applications and security mechanisms problems will always be there.

You don't have much knowledge, do you?

Windows firewall is there since years and does a good job, if you don't like it use a different one.

I do use that, as I tend to use things that the default Win firewall will reject. Anyway, setting these rules in a router level will save most attakcs. For the rest, you can use an antivirus (you gotta have one, anyway, nless you're a pro)

I bought 2 VPSs. Both of them are down although but I did manage to use one of them for an hour. I called them and they said my first VPS should be back up in an hour but it's been a day and my VPS won't work. They don't even have a control panel for the VPS like to shut it down, turn it back on etc. So I guess I would rate them 4 to 10 for now. I am about to re call them. Also, I never found a way to cancel the VPS but it's only a dollar.

I dont think window vps have a control panel for your window vps.
window vps you have to use "remote desktop connection" on your computer.

Of course Windows can work together with a control panel like SolusVM but I bet that they can't afford it or lack the knowledge to install it.

That the VPSs are down is negative, bad service...
