Android 4.1 Jellybean :: Thoughts?

It doesn't lack the hardware. I am running JB on my Galaxy Ace, and it works fine for me!

Flash was not removed from Android 4.1. Chrome is installed on the newest Android version and it has Flash in-built.

Adobe flash has stopped making their flash player for Android 4.1 So you can't use other apps that need flash. You can only, as you said, use Chrome

I believe that a few downloads sites like Chip.de, CNET Download or even Google have apks of the latest version that was available in the market.

I have seen a mirror on chip.de.

Flash player is still available to download from the play store for devices below Android 4.1
I thin, it will always be available for these devices, it just won't be updated for the new versions of Android from 4.1 onwards

true, flash wont be available for newer os than jellybean, but its always possible to sideload them manually, using apk installation.
can restore from titanium backup too. works just fine on my phone running cm10.

That's what all the developers make their apps for now. Gingerbread and above because that's were most of the market is!
