RE: Wordpress
Hi!
I'm a wordpress user and I have a website with wordpress.

If you want to setup a linux server with wordpress, you can follow my tutorial https://freevps.us/thread-5800.html
It won't take more than 20 minutes and isn't difficult. If you have any problem or question, just reply to the thread Big Grin
Then you can choose your favourite theme, write some articles and pages and your site will be ready for the web!

The plugins are also extremely easy to install: you can do it in the web interface!

RE: Wordpress
I'm also using Wordpress for a few blogs like my own blog (aka Serial Thrilla's Blog) or the blog of my friend from Munich called SiNGULARiTY - Knowledge is free. I had a few other sites (not blogs) made with Wordpress in the past but they all died. So the only two blogs/sites I have are my own one and SiNGULARiTY. Both blogs have some similar plugins but totally different theme sets.

Themes:
- Typebased from WooThemes (Serial Thrilla's Blog) - http://www.woothemes.com/2008/11/typebased/
- Dusk to Dawn by Automattic (SiNGULARiTY) - http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/dusk-to-dawn

Plugins:
- WPtouch - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wptouch/
- WP-Table Reloaded - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-table-reloaded/
- Akismet - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/akismet/
- SyntaxHighlighter Evolved - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/syntaxhighlighter/
- All in one Favicon - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/all-in-one-favicon/
- Artiss YouTube Embed - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/youtube-embed/

RE: Wordpress
wow! I like the theme of your Singularity blog. How can you make the background color change when you scroll the page? Seems that you have an image background + a gradient color sem-trasparent.

I think a useful wordpress plugin is Page-Links-To, which allows you to create a new page which is just a link.

RE: Wordpress
WordPress took me 10 minutes to install, it would have been around 5 if I didn't have to set up so many permissions and the database
