My Game: AssaultCube Special Edition
I am currently working on a game called AssaultCube Special Edition.

http://assaultcubes.tk/

The only problem is that there are almost no players because there are no servers.

Victor

RE: My Game: AssaultCube Special Edition
Welcome Victorz, so do you intend to get a free VPS from here and use it as a server?

RE: My Game: AssaultCube Special Edition
I would like somebody with enough CPU and bandwidth to run their own server, so that they can get admin on their server. I just want any server to be up 24/7 so hopefully I can get more players and servers.

It takes about 2 to 20 MB of memory, 2-5% of a Core 2 Duo @ 1.67GHz.
The bandwidth is at http://assaultcubes.codeplex.com/wikipag...rver+Guide (all are in megabits, so divide by eight for megabytes)

Victor

RE: My Game: AssaultCube Special Edition
I think I can run one on my HostRail VPS. Feel free to PM me Wink
EDIT: I see it requires Windows.

Read The ******* Manual
I have nothing against using your VPS for learning purposes.
But coming here and demanding help every time you
encounter even one tiny error, IS NOT LEARNING.

RE: My Game: AssaultCube Special Edition
You can easily compile one for linux, plus it comes with precompiled Debian 64-bit binaries.
It doesn't require Windows.

RE: My Game: AssaultCube Special Edition
You might have to recompile for 32-bit, but it's easy to compile.
Use a terminal and change the directory to the source/src folder and "make server_install".
