What is your experience with FreeVPS?
10/10 - The admin (Hidden Refuge) Is very VERY active and replies to almost every post. I've had a very pleasant experience with the community. Keep up the good work.
Actually I have joined FreeVPS today. Some of my friends were talking about free VPS giveaway. I got referred to this site on Google and I am liking the way they are giving out free virtual private servers to people.

I hope I can get a FreeVPS one day...

I will keep you guys updated ^^

Next give away will happen in 10 days (16th) so you have plenty of time to reach minimum requirements which are 30 posts and score of 55+. All you have to do is make 3 good posts/topics a day and you will have more than enough by the time of give away. Good luck. Wink

Going back to the thread, I have a good experience with FVPS. It is a good community and it has free vps for the one that meet up the requirements. I have 1 vps and it is working fine, even if it is a small one (512MB ram).
Thanks FreeVPS.us and Hostigation for VPS 18

When I notice this topic about what my experience is for VPS.  I'd say it's still basic if compared with the geeks at FreeVPS, however since we're in such great expert company here, my knowledge and experience have gone up in a vertical  line since February when I joined the Forum.  I still have lots to learn, but I'm so much more comfortable with a VPS than I've been in February.  I'm also passionate about my VPSs.  So passion helps the learning curve along as well.

In February when I joined FreeVPS for the first time, I had a small and very slow free VPS as a gift at a shared hosting forum I'm posting at.  Very soon after joining FreeVPS Forum I got a paid VPS with New Jersey location, that in retrospect to what I know now, I'd probably not have purchased.  It's a bit expensive (7 US$/month with an extra IPv4)  and slower than I wanted it to be. Yet, I still like the VPS as it is with a very reliable host.  Then about two months ago I purchased a much cheaper, and ironically much faster VPS from HostUS, which for me reflected a great shift in my knowledge and experience of buying a VPS.  Then a couple of weeks ago I got a free VPS at Freevps.us, which is the best one ever - like I went better from the most basic one to the very best one I have now.  I'm thinking of consolidating my VPSs with my free VPS at FreeVPS but somehow got attached to each and every one of them - I've postponed the consolidation for a while. In the meanwhile my knowledge and experience of running a VPS has increased four fold with each new VPS.
