whether they support with ftp access?
at the moment I need online storage that supports ftp access, to perform website backups Smile

There is no FTP, but you should have a backup of your website on your computer already, which would then get backed up to zovo Smile

I am testing it and it seems to be working great!! Thanks for sharing. Upload speed from home at 10mbits and download sometimes go bad, bat I suppose it will be my connection. From a VPS in German (the same place as the zovo data) I get 15MB/seg.

The only strange thing that I have seen is that it exclude several file extensions. For example, .vmdk (vmware virtual machine disks) are excluded. I have the exclusion list empty but I cannot backup them. If I rename it, then it is backed up.

I have asked them. Has anyone realized that before?

You have to enable "show hidden items". It's likely that it has been backed up, but for the benefit of users who aren't confident with computers, they hide uncommon file formats from view

I have enabled it, but nothing. The file is not being backed up. If I browse the selections, it is "scheduled for backup".
It seems that livedrive automatically disables several extentions. I want to know how to include them. I have sent a mail to the support. I am waiting for them to respond me.

For now you could add it to an archive and back up the archive Smile

Thanks, that is what I will probably do :-)
I am impressed with the speed. I opened the account on Thursday night (4 days ago), and I have already uploaded 500GB from two computers.

I have opened an accout at Zoolz two months ago and it started uploading at 4Mbits, but after having 200GB it dropped to 2Mbits, and then to 1Mbit at about 500GB.

But Zovo does not do that (at least until now). I am still uploading at full speed from home (10Mbits) :-)

I will backup about 1TB.

Did you have any contact with support? If it is good, this is a very good product!

Are you sure about 2GB?!

I can see 1GB files only.

This is the bad thing about Zovo so far with me. They are still paying their Livedrive reseller fees, but they don't seem to have any contact with their customers. I have emailed them multiple times and have had no reply from them.

I have actually contacted Livedrive themselves about this, where they contacted them, but also got no reply so far. I'm guessing these guys could possibly die out in the next few years when people eventually realise that there is no customer support.

I'm going to purchase backup with Zoolz and just keep them backing up my computer as well, just in case Zovo does just stop. I will stop my PayPal subscription with Zovo when I get Zoolz fully seeded with my computer. Only downside to Zoolz is that it only can back up one of your computers, whereas Zovo is backing up 5 computers/laptops in this house belonging to my family
