Software for watching movies
I don't even know that Kodi is such an awesome app. I installed it to my notebook and installed it to my Android smart phone (they are both on the same LAN), then enabled Kodi's webserver ports on the firewall, then I could remote control my Kodi from my bed with my smartphone. It's very convenient.
I Used Vlc in past but i got a nice player which can Play every type of Videos without any problem Its name Z player

Yep, nothing better than kodi for me also.
I use Yatse to control Kodi with my smartphone. What do you use?
I also use Kodi to watch Movie, Anime and TV series on my TV using Pi 3 and OSMC.
But the Pi can be easily overheat when streaming Full HD movie

Thanks to [Image: jlmGM4y.png] & [Image: logo.png] for great VPS 1 Wink
My blog hosted on VPS 1: Gunnaro (Indonesian) | Sorry for my bad English Speechless
I used Potplayer for the last few years to watch offline movies, slightly different image quality when I use this app
Before, I used a Windows media player classic with mega codec, and KMplayer, but I still see different image quality even though with one movie the same
A quick reminder to everyone that piracy is not a topic for discussion on this forum. Movie players are fine, but players that have torrenting features built in shouldn't be discussed.
Humm, sadly the best method I know involves pirating and we cannot discuss this here so I'll offer two alternatives:
VLC is known as a great media player. You can get a lot of movie formats to work on that client, and if you're not a fan of downloading movies directly to your PC or whats-so-ever, I'd recommend purchasing a streamer such as Apple TV or Kodi. For a decent price you can get the full cinema experience and it's worth it IMO.
MPC-HC to me is better than VLC because it consumes less than half the resources. Especially great if you, like me, have a crappy PC.
I use VLC Media Player on my Android device, on my PC I use standard Windows Media Player. Smile
Well...
Hello there!
