Interesting.
I've got an EDU email from a rare provider (not one of those known saturated services) but it's not from US/Canada.

Do you know if they accept international students using .edu.XXX email format?

From what I know, everything is manually verified, so I guess they do. However, I also assume that they check if your e-mail address belongs to a school.

(technically speaking, they don't require e-mail to be .edu, but it must be school issued)

Sadly I live in India and this shitty country has no such thing as school issued E-Mail ID's.
Heck schools here don't even have toilets. Students in villages s-it in the open in the fcuking farms.!!
SO no, I cannot avail this amazing offer, for which I could kill, you know.
Anyway, hope you guys can find some work around for this for indian students.
I wish something like that happened.

@JackRyder:

You know, you don't have to prove that you are a student using E-mail. You can also provide valid student identification card, or other official proof of enrollment. That should be accepted as well.

I lied. I used a gmail id

My frends have done it with GMail and PF issued edu.in ids. Just take a pic of your ID card and send it to GH.

I'm from India too, and I agree with whatever you said.
