Online database management software

@MichaelW, don't just shut him down. If he wants to use PMA, let him use PMA, not everyone is proficient with the shell.

@Neco, a mobile friendly (iirc) and extremely sleek theme is Metro: https://www.phpmyadmin.net/themes/

There is also a mobile alternative to PMA: https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...qlmanager2

Themes can make the panel look better, but they also have their implications.
For example, a theme can add an unforeseen security hole - not something you want Smile
"That but this blow
Might be the be-all and the end-all here,
But here, upon this bank and shoal of time,
We'ld jump the life to come."

Rest in peace, FreeVPS. The forum will be sorely missed.

@FlamesRunner

That is very true, one reason I personally do not use a web control panel (as difficult as SQL is Tounge).

The assumption is that the theme is updated fairly frequently and is secure (and considering the amount of users with it installed, that is a safe assumption). . You obviously don't want to get something from 2012 Tounge

EDIT: The metro theme also appears to be somewhat endorsed and "prepared" by the PMA team.

Adminer, the easiest mysql database management in my opinion, just one file and you can make the same you make with phpMyAdmin. And there are a lot of people that doesn't know how to install phpMyAdmin or their vpses. I haven't tried the 3rd one. Probably will try in these days to learn more about it.

I prefer phpmyadmin as it's the most developed web based database manager, the gui is good. The lack of mobile module is the only issue.

You bet. That is the main reason why I'm using adminer. For customers I have to install phpMyAdmin because is "easier" for them and don't like adminer. You can do almost anything that can be done with PMA in adminer and you just have to upload a simple php file. Also a lot of people are having trouble with permissions with PMA.
