@availanet: I wanted to ask what do you mean by expandable to? Do we have to pay extra money for expansion, or only a request for expansion will do?
I would like to thank freevps.us for the knowldge i gained through your forum.

The upgrades are chargeable options. But they're modest.

Maybe what Hidden Refuge wish to say is you put all packages available.

For instance:
VPS 1 : $3.99/mo.
2 vCPU
512 MB RAM
5GB SAS Disk
5Mbps unmetered traffic
(Which VPS control panel do you use)
(Which virtualization do you use)

-- and so on.
The term "expandable" did not count as "ultra low cost VPS"

Anyway, your hosting is offering cPanel
[Image: bcqwQXQ.png]

But I didn't find your IP is registered for using cPanel.

Thank you FreeVPS and ZXPlay for VPS 7 and 19

I don't do packages so it's not going to happen that way.  I start with a basic package and then you can add additional components that add value to you.  What this means is that if you have a budget, you can build a VPS that is going to work for your application without having to buy stuff you don't need.  If you don't want 4x cpu then I don't want you to order them... if you find value in some additional RAM then you can do that in real time.

It means a heavier lift on the installation side because they all pretty much have to be done custom but I'd rather have it that way because it matches up what you get with what you want with more precision.  It's a minor thing really but I think it adds value.

CPanel is available for customers who want to run a CPanel instance on their VPS.  I don't use it to host my cruddy website (which is pretty sad) so my VPS isn't licensed for CPanel.  Should you elect to order, your VPS would be licensed for CPanel and you would get root access to do with it as you wished and it would show up as correctly licensed with the good folks at CPanel.

3.99 USD is like 4 USD. Plus the storage is just 5 GB? You can get a really nice VPS on that cost.

The VPS comes with CentOS pre installed? What about Debian and Ubuntu?

The Proxmox panel is somehow messy for me. How about SolusVM?

Nice advertisement lines but no offense; it doesn't count as ultra low cost VPS for me.

Also, it bothers me that you only offer a base network speed of 5mbps. Usually, providers stay around the 100mbps or higher mark, and for this price, I'd expect at least that.
I'm not going to be that person who throws up another signature which displays my posts for the month. My goal is to be active enough to reach the post requirements without staring at a counter thinking, "Great! I'm done my posts, I can log off until next month."

Sure - install what you want. You will be able to install that or if you have a distro, I'm not opposed to uploading an ISO for that purpose. I have people running freeBSD, Windows... all good to me.

Not an option at this time.  I've selected Proxmox for a few reasons and I don't plan to introduce any SoluVM nodes.

No offense taken.

I can do an unmetered 100 mbps but you won't like the price.

You don't have the greatest CPanel (I mean like control panel, not cPanel the control panel), but this sounds like a great deal.

Also, I have a question: Is it 5Mbps or 5MBps (megabits per second, and megabytes per second, respectively, and FYI 8 Mbps=1 MBps)
Once you get that clarified, I'll definitely be a customer. Prices are very good, compliments on that!

May we install our own CPanel? I like zPanel as well as Webmin and Kloxo-VM, all free. I don't believe in 500-bucks-a-year CPs.

megabits per second.  it's actually rate limited to .63 megabytes/second in proxmox which works out to a shade over 5 megabits/second but it's so small it's really just best for me to round down

You can install whatever you want.  It's a KVM so you can get what you like and install it.

ha ha - yeah.  I suck as a web designer so stuff pretty much looks like what it does right out of the box.  ugly and with none of the fonts matching.   I'll give you the best VPS I can at the best price I can get it to you.
