I don't think so. Read their explanation page once then   you easily get the idea. Renewals take about 1 minute.

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to update the thread and let people know that more stock of the Free VPS has been added!

Enjoy!

The demand for VPSs as you offer them (no posts required, no surveys, no referrals and such) is really huge after HapHost shutdown. I love your CarrotPay system. Having your service already for the second month and it's really great.

Well, we don't have unlimited capacity for doing free VPS, and it is not our objective simply to give away something for free. It is a 'loss leader' product!

But I'm glad the VPS is working well for you and that you like the CarrotPay system.

Maybe some of you are interested in how it goes after all the months. So here is a small update.

I am a VPSBit customer since around 6 months now and have their free service for as long as I am a customer.

I have nothing bad to report. Really! I haven't had any single downtime so far since day one. The performance is great and the network is also really acceptable. I've a fairly good latency to the server. I'm still using it to host web pages only. Still have a lot of resources free for other things.

Bench.sh result after 6 months:

This is by far one of the best free products I ever had. According to some recent posts made by randvegeta on LowEndTalk they restock around 20 VPSs per day until the nodes are full (Source: http://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/com...nt_1479773). The demand is high though. However many people abuse the service and lose their VPSs and so their slots become available again. Or many don't bother to extend it or even install a operating system. So it also gets removed and another slot becomes available.

I'm planning to keep it as long as they keep the free service running.

Huh, they restock every day eh? Never been able to land one of them myself.

I guess I should check their page multiple times every day.

Same for me never managed to get one. I first saw their site 2 Months ago. Seems I am not looking on their site when they restock.

Check now. We just released 20 VMs and we can see the counter going down every 2 - 3 mins. So I guess less than an hour before it's all gone.

Thank you, sir. You are a gentleman and a scholar.
