@randvegeta, can we expect free service to keep running for years?
Just curious about your plans.

Huh? it seems VPSBiT needs the possible stocks for free VPSs...
My VPS has been suspended now without any reason.

What I've did until I got the VPS? only used FreeVPS.us benchmark script.
-_- That's not fair. I haven't at least made an review to share here! lol.

Actually, mine was suspended for a few days for non-payment, was reactivated soon after.

Perhaps you should try contacting randvegeta on LowEndTalk, he's very active there.
Just wandering around, nothing more.

(Wow, it's been years and I took me this long to realize I had a typo in my signature :/)

They also expire at the end of the month. So if you claim your site coins on January 31st, they won't be carried over into February. They will expire at the end of the day and you will need to claim the next SiteCoin offer in February (anytime in Feb).

We limit supply of Free VPS (for obvious reasons). If you can get one, then you need not worry about the SiteCoin offer.

DO NOT make the mistake of thinking you can get more SiteCoins that permitted. If violation of our terms are discovered, your VPS will be terminated without warning, notification or appeals. Just a word of warning. 1 VPS per client, and 1 SiteCoin offer per client per month.

It's available now! Grab one while it lasts. Every day we release 20 but they don't last long.

Damnit! missed it again. Every single day?

Gonna make a subscription to this thread so I do not miss another one. Where do you announce it first, LET or FVPS?

Just curious about your plans.

We are using surplus parts and our backup network connection to run the free service. There is no plan to discontinue the service and the only additional costs we incur from running the service is extra electricity. The bandwidth we pay for any way, and if we run out of IPs, then we would need to purchase more. The hardware is mostly from servers that were built using 'desktop grade' hardware and we no longer consider it suitable for long term use in a 'commercial' setting. We have plenty of this surplus hardware actually, so we will probably run out IPs sooner. But yes, the idea is to run for YEARS. We have already been running for 7 months.

No stock deployed today, and no more will be deployed until Wednesday at the earliest as we need to setup the new nodes and existing nodes are full.
