Secure Your SSH Server
Different passwords and ssh ports for each machine you own. That`s all you really need. Use server`s firewall rules to block everything aside from your ip or ip class if you have jumpy(dynamic) ips or the firewall from the server`s control panel(if there is one). Changing the default ssh port is really the only thing you need to do, but only if you change it to something widely used.(like the 443 port if you`re not using https or even 80 if you`re not using web services at all)
