Afreecloud - Free Web Hosting
#21
Finally got the approval on my account and will start uploading some tiny websites that I am currently working on to test my websites on web as well as to compare the speed of the hosting, will certainly need to read a lot about the new Control Panel though.

I requested an account yesterday; it is now activated. Looking foward to testing. Since Freeho.st closed down, I'll try this and see if it works.
hi, I'm tmwc.
I'm not active here anymore.

Hmm, looks legit. I love to add free quality hosting providers to my list. My first experience was with 000webhost and it was very bad, but then again that was a long time ago.

000WH is still bad. They're part of the Hostinger group, which is well known to be on the poor end of quality. So low in quality that they and their resellers are banned from advertising on most forums.

Also a big fan of Anime, see my poor taste here.

Totally agreed.  The part that was a problem for me a couple of years ago was inability to upload materials with FTP.  I can connect but it times out all of the time because of its archaic setup that hadn't been updated for ages.  Recently after the password leaks had happened, and when 000WH did a remake of their image (I'm almost certain there is a link between the two Smile), I tried it again, thinking that maybe the revamp included an improved and more up to date service for the free accounts but not so.  Exact same issue with inability to upload.

What gets me most is its proximity in the search results close to the top.

Please, with all respect, stay on topic the OP wish to discuss about.
Thank you FreeVPS and ZXPlay for VPS 7 and 19

Oops sorry abhe. You're right. Let's get back to afreehosting.com. Which is still my most favourite shared free hosting account. I've got WordPress loaded on my hosting and it's the fastest experience I've ever had with a WordPress installation. Like loading plugins or themes or modifying things is much faster and a real pleasure to work with.

I can recommend the basic free hosting account for users that don't need big space, like it's 1GB size however 100GB Bandwith - the bandwidth is HUGE for a shared free hosting account. Afreecloud.com also have two almost free shared hosting options for 3.65 US$ per YEAR with a choice of VestaCP or cPanel. One gets 10GB space and 1 Terrabyte bandwidth for these. Like that's a huge jump in specs. I may try that out one day, but for now I'm happy with the basic account. It has been a great experience so far.

I think I am signing up for this as it has been up for long and it's free. Though it seems like it doesn't give out free ssl which I am looking for, it's not bad to sign up as the bandwidth is nice.

KuJoe told me that they are now "focusing on VestaCP only". So now it's free/paid VCP hosting Sad
Old users are grandfathered in though.
