[SOLVED] Germany & France migrations
#1
Dear Clients,

We been experiencing several complaints from our users regarding some instability on some of our VPS services for over last few months. We been trying our level best to avoid issues as best as possible.

But still even after much efforts, there is still some prevailing issues on some of our service. As a part eradicating it, we are announcing a hardware maintenance on VPS hosting at our France and German location.

The big dedicated servers will be divided into a cluster of small dedicated servers there by increasing the number of hardware nodes and reducing the number of users per hardware node. This should enhance the functionality of hardware and there by giving users with a much better service than before.
Thank you for your patience and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. All the current VPS servers will be migrated with short downtime (~5 minutes) and we can ensure that there will not be any data loss occurring at this point.

Yours Sincerely,
GalaxyHostPlus Team
Kind Regards

That's good to reduce the number of users per hardware node. And hope this can help prevent VPS offline unexpectedly. Thanks for all your efforts. Smile

Note new Nodes will go offline for SSD Cache upgrade due poor I/O which was reported below 3 MB/s

One node is installed with SSD Cache results

[root@atlas vz]# dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=64k count=16k conv=fdatasync
16384+0 records in
16384+0 records out
1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 4.79413 s, 224 MB/s
