Coffee vs Beer - Programmers' choice
#31
None of the two, I'd take a fresh tea or eat a fruit salad (usually a mix of kiwis, oranges, apples and pears). It's a really good energy boost and helps me focus aswell.

Best energy boost would be drinking cold water and eating some vegetables. They keep you full and you do not have to worry about eating another bulk of food for another five hours.

Actually the problem with vegetables is that they don't give you energy, sure they keep your stomach full but if you need some energy and you want it to come from a healthy source fruit is the way to go.

Vegetables do give energy. Vegetables are main sources of fibre, minerals and vitamins. Fruits on the other hand provide vitamins and energy. Humans do not need sugar to survive with. Vegetables are really good for brain boost, getting rid of toxics boost a person's brainpower and overall potential in a given activity.

Are you kidding me? We live on sugars, have you ever heard of the citric acid cycle ( aka Krebs cycle)?
You can't live only with fruit but vegetables don't give you any calories as they only give you fibers, minerals and vitamins.
The enzymes in our stomach can't digest cellulose to extract sugars from it so as long as the argument is about energy vegetables are pretty useless and fruit wins.
But I think that we are getting a little off-topic.

Enough off-topic about sugars. You can start a new thread for that.

What would you like to have? Coffee or beer? and why? Just asking generally no hard feelings Cheese

For me... Its Coffee. Because No Chance for Beer at all. and strategically Coffee makes you out of stress. and beer makes you out of senses. So...!

I don't drink any coffee or beer.

I think coffee is better because coffee only got cafeine not alcohol.

Alcohol will make you write buggy code and have less creativity.
It will lead to serious programming failure.
It make you need more time to fix bug.
