Does anyone know of good quality cheap dedicated hosting servers?
#1
I've been Googling for Dedicated Hosting Servers, and find the prices quite heavy going.  Does anyone have suggestions for good quality cheap dedicated hosting servers?  I'm particularly interested in suggestions of servers members have purchased and used, or know of someone who is very happy with both price and quality of their dedicated server.

I'm looking at 32 GB RAM with specs as listed at OVH link below:
https://www.ovh.com/us/dedicated-servers/hosting/

70$ a month looks a bit pricey though.

Problem with Hetzner is usually they have a setup fee.

Thank you for the suggestions.  I considered Hetzner for a shared hosting account a year or so ago, except when I got to the payment stage it was pretty archaic and weird.  Particularly for someone outside Europe.  One has to pay in advance for a year  by credit card or monthly by a Bank debit order.  No PayPal option.  When I checked the reviews it criticized their service, so thought to bale out, looked a bit too complicated for me.

BUT, I know their hosting is very good with great prices.

Your other suggestions sounds worth looking at.  Thanks very much. :good:

Also thanks to Conan.  I've heard about kimsufi, and should check them out again.

WholeSaleInternet.com (WSI) has cheap servers.

Don't expect support to reply to tickets, or new hardware.

They had a $10 dedi special a while back, but it doesn't meet your desired specifications.
I have VPS 18 (Hostigation) and 24 (HostDare).

I haven't tried them but heard a lot about them at Lowendbox. Their website is not so friendly or attract and like you said their payment methods. Also since they are inside Europe they do charge 12% VAT too. Along with setup fee that's kinda a deal killer.

One of the biggest problems with all these budget solution providers is you are not going to get much technical support. They won't even bother to reply to your support tickets unless it's a problem related to them like server malfunction etc.

If you are looking a host for PHP based websites, then take a look at Cloudways PHP hosting (https://www.cloudways.com/en/php-cloud-hosting.php ). Their pricing plans starts from $7/mo. They have got different VPS providers so you have got more pricing options with them. The benefit here is they are managed hosting platform, which means you can save cost on server management and maintenance.

You can also check out Dacentec in Lenoir, North Carolina in the United States for their cheap special dedicated server details: https://billing.dacentec.com/hostbill/in...d-servers/

They've a 60 USD server with 32 GB RAM available with 2x 1 TB in Software RAID and Intel E5462.

You could of course get a cheaper server with 16 GB RAM and see if you can get another 16 GB as addon.
