That's a very ambiguous question.

Many thanks to FreeVPS for VPS #13 and ZXPlay for providing such an amazing service. (Read: How to get a VPS here.)

That's the most overused suggestion that people make (usually). So while were waiting for Intel's 8'th gen CPUs, by the time they come out, they're already making promises for the next generations to come. And here come these people again and say "Oh noo.. optimus !! You could have waited for i3 9th generation.". And so the cycle repeats constantly. And for what? for an extra 5% increase in synthetic performance?

Not to mention that in the mean time, you'll find out life is a b*, and probably have to use that $ somewhere else. And when release day comes, that pocket is empty. Stop waiting for the next generation of crap, you'll never buy anything that way. They release a new one every year with little to no benefit for the average user.

And the sad part is that they're usually releasing the high-end parts first and by the time they reach to releasing the low-end stuff, they're already releasing the high-end parts for the next generation. And you're always caught in the middle.

@Optimus
You should've ysed a B250 Motherboard to save a bit more money imho.

Unless you plan to upgrade to an overclockable kabylake soon.

@rudra , well that's exactly what happened last year, i was about to buy a build but then kabylake came, i skipped the build for this year. and now coffee lake came, i think that will not end here, technology will keep advancing. later you will hear yet another upgrade generation. what cabinet info ? and this board as i intend moving to an unlock cpu in the near future.

@Conan , i thought of this too, to cut cost, but i intend moving to an unlocked cpu in the near future. i7 still very expensive here and price isn't showing any sign of dropping too. so that's why.
