Symantec Distrust

It's not that I am advocating for google, but as Google owns Chrome, so It is upto google to provide the most secure browser and select the most trusted certificates to start with for its consumers so they don't have to mess with 3rd party certificates.
As for the people it is upto them to choose other browsers which suits them.

True - however I still think Google has created more damage than was necessary to get rid of Symantec.  I also think Microsoft is doing some of the same thing with how it builds its Windows these days.  Like from Windows 8.0 it has started to provide its own anti-virus software.  They're both into empire building to satisfy their share holders, and that is really the bottom line.  Get rid of Symantec, and there is more than honesty at stake for me from where Google is.

Only that Windows Defender could be considered as the worst antivirus software on planet earth. Like, why do I have to perform a Windows update to update the virus definitions? It makes no sense, considering every other antivirus software has no problem doing it without a reboot.

In addition; I tried removing the useless software, but as Microsoft seems to like to do now, it was reinstalled days later via/ Windows Update. Disabling it from the control panel is just as useful, because the toggle to disable it is only temporary.

Microsoft is really pushing it for me now. :/
I have VPS 18 (Hostigation) and 24 (HostDare).

I refuse to believe they are that lousy. Their anti-virus is one of the best there is out there just for starters. Google has blown it all out of proportion, and the end product of what Google really aimed at is exactly your perception that Symantec is lousy.

On what evidence you say google blowed it out of proportion? And i never used their anti virus so can't comment on that and lets be honest nobody uses shitty antivirus in the market except malwarebytes.
