Unturned
#1
I just tried to set up an Unturned server from home (to play with friends).
The strange part is: it's not working if i set it to online mode (tried on both linux and windows PCs), but as soon as I set it to lanserver, my friends are able to join (using VPN).
Any idea how could my problem be solved?

Based on what you said I'll assume you created the server locally on your computer. In order for your friends (or anyone else for that mater) to be able to connect to it you must tell your router to which local IP address it must forward the packets received via the public IP address on a certain port. I.e. setting up port forwarding on your router. <- So have you done that? And confirmed the port is open with any of the hundreds of online sites/tools that can do that?

Hey mate, thx for your reply.
Yes, I try it on a local PC.
Yepp, i done that. I tried to use the default port (27015) with ports (27015-27017) forwarded/opened on my network. Destination IP is also set correctly, checked both. I've tried setting up custom port, without any success.
