This is a major issue with their datacenters. I know who owns NoUptime, and I have contacted him. The datacenter is either working on networking upgrades or issues. It was up for a while yesterday, but when back down at around midnight.

I never thought a DC could have such huge blackouts. I wonder what about all those paid customers Sad
Really really hoping this won't have much effect on their capacity to survive.

I put in a ticket as well for my VPS when the website was online, they replied a minute after saying that they're working on it, but I wonder how long it'll take until it all comes back online.

@NoUptime got a ETA by any chance?

They have been really good till this happened and looks like they can't do much apart from move to another DC as soon as possible. I hope they are already moving paid clients to a new place already or soon they will face mass exodus of paid customers. Nouptime has given a great service so far and I would hate to see something bad like that happen to them.

Well when you grow as a web hosting provider it's better to spread your clients over several DC rather than rely on one.

I wonder if we'll be able to recover the data from them, I heard it's just a network outage so I'm guessing it may be possible from the DC's side.

Another reason why we should always have our own frequent backups. I usually do daily and weekly basis backup depending on the site but even I get bored sometimes. If it's a forum we should get at least a daily backup. We can't relay on provider for that even if it's a paid hosting account.

In this case I hope they do have backups since this happened in middle of a routine maintenance, didn't it ?

If you want to be redeployed we are able to do it on our other network. (We also have full backups of the VM's.)
