For now I just stay attached to windows defender with some antimalware software and I hadn't have any problem with viruses on my computer for a long time. I use KIS on the other computer but that is a paid software and it works so good but on windows 10 just the windows defender for now.
Thanks FreeVPS.us and Hostigation for VPS 18

Windows Defender is quite annoying thing in Windows 10, i myself have disabled it since it removed some of my files without even informing me. Like some anti-virus software do ask before removing any suspicious file. Though i had no suspicious file since i use some of the anti-virus to scan the computer.

I'm using it and didn't have any files deleted without permissions and you can setup that the antivirus ask first. By default is enabled the feature that deleted and don't ask. Look in Google for further information

I myself am using Windows Defender only as I use Solus OS as my daily use operating system and the Windows partition to play games now and then, hence I need to worry less about virus and more about what scripts do I run. I also use script blockers to prevent the browser from slowing down.

With some antivirus you could transer license from a computer to another one.

Among most of anti-viruses,I'm using Avast antivirus to protect my PC from malwares, root-kits.It is a normal anti-virus programme that fulfills its duties properly. The best feature of it is the 1 year free trial period. When we consider the list of anti-virus programmes, this is such as below.
1. Bitdefender Antivirus Free Edition.
2. Eset Antivirus
3. Avira Antivirus.
4. Avast Free Antivirus.
5. AVG Free Antivirus.
6. Kaspersky Lab Internet Security 2017
8. Panda Free Antivirus.
9. Comodo Antivirus.

So If you are going to buy an antivirus, you can buy Bit defender which is at the top of the list according to your PC specifications.
