I have a mono colored window with no Microsoft or theme enhancements.  I usually prefer things simple with minimum use of resources.  Probably very boring. Tounge

I was told those can slow the computer so I stopped using those while age. Also I was told using a black background would save power. Wonder if its true.

Black background save power: I think its depends on Display type. But I'm not sure.

I would like to keep my system look different from others system. But as you all said, it take some Memory and CPU resource.

@cybersa,
Saving power by using black background is only true for AMOLED(Active-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode) or OLED displays,
as every pixel is not always lit-up. . So you will save more battery if you set your theme/wallpaper to black.
However this is not true for LCD(Liquid-Crystal Display) as each pixel needs to be illuminated and relies on back-lighting
and it’s constantly outputting light even the background is black, actually it displays as dark gray thus using more power than its counterpart.

Anyway back on the topic, I dont use any customization tool on my windows 10.
I leave the default windows 10 background/theme as for me this looks cool enough. hehe. Smile
