Free VPS | Post Counter Image Script! [ Design Updated ]

The purpose of providing an API is completely useless. For what? Just to display it differently? To embed images of different style in the signature? Is this really that important? Because in this case you can't really argue that we're making more mirrors to make make sure we always have a functional script. Why? Because if the master script server goes down, all the other mirrors go down. Think about it.

So now my question is: Why is this so necessary? And equally important: Why is the debate between XML and JSON so necessary? Dahell are we even talking about here? Can anyone see how absurdly off-topic we're getting here?

That is obvious,I just pointed out some points which aren't there in his XML version.
But though I won't be using it since it's obvious that Conan's script can again to down like earlier and in that case we would left empty handed like earlier. If you want then simply make the codes open-source so other users,so they can utilise it's elements according to their needs.Creating it's only API would hardly effect the scenario.
It just longer the process I guess.

For using the above Postcounter simply copy its link and replace the userid with your once.
if you have /30 posts count slot then just add &vps2 at the last of your postcounter url.

I would do that but the only copy I had was on the VPS. And since that's inaccessible at the moment. I can't do that. Although. @Conan has my permission to release the core library that the interface is actually using. Which is in `inc/postcount.lib.php`. And probably also the `config.php` as well as a few lines of initialization from `index.php`. He is free to share those however he chooses. They're the core of the whole thing so that's all anyone needs. I can't do that right now.

Many thanks to FreeVPS for VPS #13 and ZXPlay for providing such an amazing service. (Read: How to get a VPS here.)

@"S.L.C"
I'll do it later if I remember when I come home.

As for the "API", I made a a push bullet app to remind me about my post count. I wanted to share the api for other people. (Also for those people who created apps for post counters before.) (It's also a 5 minute job so I did it lol)

EDIT: (Just to add, I also did it because I wanted an alternative for @pjay. Instead of scraping, just provide a more easily parse-able format)

Here is the postcount lib: https://hastebin.com/lekeselafe.xml

Well if you just reuse code from the old counter its bound to have some problem, although i am not proficient at php you should make it open source and post it on github so people can see and fix whatever not working

@Abdul Sami why not try using the postcount.lib.php by S.L.C?
It's just a few functions to use :3

It's bugged for me, it says I have 0 posts this month. I agree with the others saying that the background is too complex. I might try to make a script that even goes off of timezone.

Since the thread is just getting spammed with reports of the counter not working, I am closing it.
