[SOLVED] vps18 : quota problem
#1
I'm having problems with quota. In virtualmin im getting this error " setquota: Mount point (or device) / not found or has no quota enabled. setquota: Not all specified moutpoints are using quota.

This has started happening only after the new owner has taken over so i guess they use same ip range but moved servers to their data centers.

Need to request quota enable again i guess.

A ticket has been created on behalf of your request. It is weekend so it might take a little until everything has been sorted out.

@Hidden Refuge

Does being a retired staff member now mean "active-ish" staff member?
I didn't know you still managed the account is all.
I'm not going to be that person who throws up another signature which displays my posts for the month. My goal is to be active enough to reach the post requirements without staring at a counter thinking, "Great! I'm done my posts, I can log off until next month."

I still have an contact account at Hostigation/Anynode WHCMS under the main account for support and similar. And I said back when I departed from staff that I would still be around and help out how and where I can.

Yes

I'm VERY HAPPY to hear this! All I can say is thank you - that made my day HR. We definitely need you as well as all other retired Admin as you have the track record, confidence, energy, savvy, sense of humour, sense of fun, ability to motivate and experience to pass on to the new staff.  Hopefully you have all of the power of Admin staff as well.  It's unfair to new staff, and also detrimental to the Giveaway Process to not give them a helping hand until one's sure they have all of the tools and help they need - like one can see they are comfortable in their new skin.

Chris was lucky.  As if one checks the records he had the backup of you helping out in a MAJOR WAY with the inquiries of the new VPSs as well as Optimus also helped.  Your backup counted for multiple helping hands as you always instantly replied and were perfectly able to deal with all of the inquiries - you didn't have to think about any of it.  You can't imagine how secure it made everything feel with you around.  Just a very small percentage of that in your retired capacity will be awesomely valuable all round.  Would be great if some of the other retired staff can be as supportive as you are.  Like all of the little bits collectively would count for something wholesome and good.

I'm glad HR is helping when he can since there aren't too many support staff members likw ir used to be. Also hope new owners of Hostigation are good and quick to sort out problems like the old bunch.

A little update: The ticket is currently on hold. According to the information in the ticket the container has been passed on to a anyNode operations manager to perform the necessary steps. This is the current update from the 1th Nov 10:15.

anyNode operations manager have enabled quota for your container. You have to update the quota tools or restart your VPS to see the changes. Please confirm whether everything works or not.
