@deanhills good luck with keeping your container! Hoping @Janusz will let you keep your container, even if it's with a cost as moving your websites back and forth is a lot of work. Isn't exactly fun doing it over and over again..
Thank you HostUS for VPS 16!

Check out @coreyman's Free VPS Club for a free VPS with only 15 posts/month!
No waiting required to get a free VPS, just make posts and apply!

Thank you for the response.  To tell the truth I've already moved all of my Websites and vacated the VPS.  However if there is something that can be worked out I'm still interested of course - it's a brilliant VPS.  If it should happen that we come to an arrangement hope you will  be able to help with loading CentOS Minimal, as only Ubuntu was available in Virtualizor when I reloaded the OS to empty the VPS.

Thank you for the good wishes.  After this experience I don't think it is as big a deal to me any longer to move Websites around.  It is a little bit time consuming, but very easy to do - I've got all of the steps sorted out and have made my peace that VPSs - whether paid or free - aren't permanent. My Websites are completely portable and I'm able to move them with very little down time.  What was interesting in this experience was that my backup VPS failed exactly at the same time.  Maybe it was a good thing as whenever I start from scratch I update everything as I go along and learn new things at the same time.  It's never a wasted experience.

Definitely sad, but I guess the tightening of the low end market has constricted their available funds.
Now that I have a couple KVMs and a plethora of OVZs, it's likely that I won't get another VPS here. That being said, I'd still be active whenever I can.

Thanks FlamesRunner.  Sad indeed.  I really liked this VPS.  But am very grateful to @JanuszC for the time I could have had it.  He has been very generous with the contribution of VPSs as well as his personal time.  Glad you're sorted with KVMs.  I remember I had one with VPS 27 and that experience was brilliant as well.

Oh, that is so bad. They really are an awesome provider and their service is awesome. It's bad that they have to stop supporting us.

It was an almost 3 years happines since they started sponsoring us their amazing VPSs.
I've used my VPS from them very little.. Sad
Now we are only with USA VPSs with exception of very little from France.

Never had a GalaxyHostPlus VPS but it's always sad to see the dwindling of the number of providers/sponsors.

Nevertheless, thank you Janusz and GHP for all that they've done for this forum, and for always being active in providing support for their VPSes in the forum.

Yeah, we’ve lost 3 sponsors within a span of 3 months.

I’ll probably drop my last VPS here as well, considering I have space on my dedi and on a few servers I picked up during the Black Friday fiasco.

During the past days a few GalaxyHostPlus VPS owners have had some doubts about for how long they can keep the VPS to migrate their files to another VPS. We've contacted GalaxyHostPlus through @JanuszC on our forum and got a clear answer in favor for our users. For this we would like to thank @JanuszC once again.

GalaxyHostPlus has pulled back the deadline of the 20th January and extended it for as long as reasonably necessary for everyone to move off to new or other services. This doesn't mean that the sponsorship has been reinstated or that you can keep your VPS forever. You have to migrate from your GHP VPS to another VPS!

GalaxyHostPlus will remove all services when they think that enough time has passed and/or when we give green light after everyone migrated to other VPSs or elsewhere.

@deanhills, @HMR, @tiwil, @IEpicDestroyer and of course everyone else who also had the same doubts.
