Is it possible to change IP for my VPS?

Looks like my IP is blocked to send mails from my VPS by google.

Error Message:

Quote:Our system has detected an unusual rate of unsolicited mail originating from your IP address. To protect our users from spam, mail sent from your IP address has been blocked. Please visit  https://support.google.com/mail/?p=UnsolicitedIPError to review our Bulk Email Senders Guidelines

For the most case i use MailGun to send mails to users like Registration mails, approval mails etc... But in some case like support questions i have to reply back to user using roundcube from my VPS. I don't remember when i sent bulk emails to users from my VPS.

Is it possible to change IP for my VPS?

1st. The best way to get your IP out if the Google blacklist is by filling the form on this page: Report a delivery problem between your domain and Gmail

Once the form is submitted it takes 3-7 days for the process to take place. You may not hear back from Gmail, but your emails will start reaching Gmail users once you have fixed the issue you were blacklisted for.

2nd. In case you send legitimate bulk emails and get bounces with the 400 error code, then you need to go through the Google's Bulk Sender Guidelines and then complete the Bulk Sender Contact Form

Also, it is recommended that you sign up for a Google postmaster account and check your sending domain reputation with Google. You will get access to several dashboards: Spam Rate Dashboard, Domain and IP Reputation Dashboard, Feedback Loop Dashboard (only for senders who implemented the Gmail Spam Feedback Loop), Authentication Dashboard, Delivery Errors Dashboard.

You do know that IP blacklisting is grounds for suspension from any provider right? I'd work with Google to try and get the IP off the blacklist ASAP as people don't like their IPs getting blacklisted. Do check when the IP was listed to see if it was your fault. It could be the previous owner or it could be poor security on the VPS.

Also you can check with many other spam listings company to check against their ips and get off from them also. I recommend this https://mxtoolbox.com/blacklists.aspx

You can remove those blacklist by contacting the specific company mxtoolbox lists.

I have checked the tool with my VPS IP. Fortunately nothing marked my IP as blacklists.  But still it get blocked by Google.

I think i have to try Postmaster tool to find out the issues. I will check that tool asap.

Google (also Microsoft) maintains their own internal blacklist that doesn't rely on any other blacklist. You have to contact Google, resolve the reasons for your IP being listed and get it delisted by Google.

I could change your IP, but if this is the reason you want it changed, I won't. The reason being it is unlikely to help. Most IP ranges used for VPSes are blacklisted by mail providers. If you want mail delivery, you'll have to use a forwarder like sendgrid, mailgun, or sparkpost.

@cybersa  Sorry to hear about the blocking of the IP.  Looks as though you will have to get that unblocked first, but also at the same time in order to get it unblocked you'll have to convince Google you've removed the source of the blocking.

If your IP is the same one for the Website that is in your footer I did a search at SpamHaus and your IP isn't listed there.  So seems as though Google is the only provider with a problem so far.  The IP is blocked by Google and not generally blacklisted yet. So maybe there isn't a need to change the IP as the same thing will happen to the new IP if you do the e-mails the same way.  Better to do the fixes at the root with how your mail is set up on your VPS.

Why not get rid of the e-mail setup in your VPS and use an external mail host for the e-mails instead?  Like Zoho or Yandex.  A plus for an external mail host is that you'll still be able to communicate by e-mail when the Website is down - most of all, your IP will be less vulnerable for blocking.  I've had good experience with Zoho where one can get up to 20 free mail accounts.  But I've heard good reports about Yandex too.  With Yandex one can get a 1,000 or more free mail accounts:
https://domain.yandex.com/domains_add/

Nice part is that Yandex says it can help you transfer your e-mail accounts from your VPS to Yandex.  So may be worth a try?  Also, by opening separate domain accounts for each domain on your VPS you may spread the risk a bit wider.  You'll soon discover where the real problems lie.

Okay. Thanks for your information.
As i said before, in some case only i'm trying to send mail from my VPS. For all other mails, i'm using Mail Gun to send mails.
I think i should follow the advise of deanhills.

@deanhills
Thanks for your information. I will try both Zoho and Yandex .

@All.
I tried Postmaster tool. No error message or spam rate in the last 6 days.
