As far as I know there aren't any VPSs with Windows, you have to supply your own Windows.   You also have to be careful as some of the VPSs may prohibit the use of Windows on their VPSs.  You can check out the details in the VPS Info & Requirements:
https://freevps.us/announcement-13.html

You also need to be careful how you use Windows as it is licensed software.  Other users have mentioned they use a trial version of Windows so it can be free.  I personally don't understand why someone would want to use Windows on a Linux VPS as it will be eating away resources, but maybe there's a good reason why you prefer Windows.

Well it is a good learning experience to stop using a GUI and actually use only terminal commands to get what you want done.  Besides the Windows OS itself uses a lot of ram just to run the system compared to what Linux systems use.  If you have a student email address or any type of way to verify your a student, you can get your copy of Windows server licensed free of charge at imagine.microsoft.com after it verifies your a student.
Thank you HostUS for VPS 16!

@IEpicDestroyer  Up to yesterday I also thought the same, that the Windows OS uses more resources, but apparently for a server it uses so few resources one can load it on a very old laptop.  I was going to respond the same as you did to @OldMeister, but thought to Google a tutorial first to see how it works.  I then learned that resources aren't a problem, however everything else is. If @OldMeister's reason for not using Linux is because of the learning curve and the lessons he needs to learn, Microsoft OS can be very complicated and he'll have to work through a couple or more tutorials before he can use it effectively.  The client interface is not user-friendly and can trip one up right from the installation stage.  I'd say due to the simplicity of Linux and the fact it doesn't cost a penny in the way we use it with a VPS, it may be much better to learn to use Linux.  One can also get away with not knowing a lot of Linux, by just learning the important survival commands, load PuTTy and install a free panel.  Also Linux is instinctive given that all one needs to do for finding a command is to just Google a question to find the command.
