Benchmarks Scripts
#1
Network Test, Disk IO test and system info:

Code:
wget --no-check-certificate freevps.us/downloads/bench.sh -O - -o /dev/null | bash

Note: this will use 1 GB of transfer and download test files from multiple locations. It has not finished until you see a disk io number.

Look like the network test with Linode Tokyo JP is not working.

I'm doing the benchmark with my VPS12.

Edit: this is what i got with the IOPing test:

Code:
ioping . -c 10
-bash: /bin/ioping: No such file or directory

Thân,

iCarrot.

You need to download it first as dmmcintyre said -

Code:
wget http://d3vm.net/ioping -O /bin/ioping; chmod 755 /bin/ioping

how to use geekbench.
tutorial please.. Smile
#7
Uncompress it (tar xvpf filename.tar.gz) and it will show something like:

Code:
dist/Geekbench21-Linux/
dist/Geekbench21-Linux/geekbench_x86_64
dist/Geekbench21-Linux/geekbench_x86_32

Just run the one ending with x86_32 (paste the whole line into your terminal)

I tried again and here's the result:
