Its really easy to set up a minecraft server on CentOS. All you have to do is first yum update(just in case).
then yum install java(for centos 5 this will install openjdk)
then create a minecraft folder: mkdir minecraft
then go into the folder: cd minecraft
then copy the download link of the latest server software and do: wget "link here"
After that all you have to do is run the server using java -Xmx"server ram"M -jar "server jar name".

Its really easy ! Hell i can even do a commentary on how you can do it on a vps with less than 250mb Ram and have 0 to non-existent lag ( dont expect to host more than 10 people tho , 10 is already above it's limit )

hmm .. You using it for a Minecraft Server >?
You could run apache to host your website , i remember apache doesnt use that much ram , done it on a 64mb ram VPS .

Thanks FreeVps and PyramidServer for the VPS2 !

Step 1 - Get a domain .
Step 2 - Redesign the website
Step 3 - Configure nginx

Lol !
Nhoczu dont you have a VPS too ?
I'm resorting to making programs and using Adfly to earn money for a cheap VPS . So ~ I'll be grateful if I even have the chance to own one Smile
