Try free cloud servers at serverlove: http://serverlove.com/
They give you 15 Pounds free credit as a demo, and it's awesome! Much better than ElasticHosts.

I am currently using it to build LFS, as I need a slim local web server for testing. Laugh

I have nothing against using your VPS for learning purposes.
But coming here and demanding help every time you
encounter even one tiny error, IS NOT LEARNING.

Looks like they take a Google Voice account for receiving the second half of you password.

Not bad. You can get a 1Ghz 512Mb VPS free for 1 month, but the bandwidth wouldn't be much, only 10GB for the entire month.

its kind of cool how the trial is flexible. You can get it for a few days to ~ a month depending on what specs you want.

I think I`ll shutdown my virtual server tonight, as 7 days isn't that much xD

I think you can ask for sponsorship / linkback for extra (free) credits. Never tried on this provider but mkay be worth a try.
Spam? What do you mean by spam? I need free host!
My personal Phrase

Can you sponsor me a Xen/KVM VPS?

Working on my new project: http://donot.cf/ (soon to come: zPanel hosting and resellers, all for the lovely price of $0.00!!!!)
Hope this make OK to the signature rules!!!!
I really hate OpenVZ. I really do. Offer me an OpenVZ VPS and expect for it to be unused or given away to hosting companies as sponsorship, except if it is offshore and/or you do not limit the content that can be hosted on it(ie, it does not have the head-cutting USA law applied to it).

Good idea! I have a perfect excuse for this. Tongue
