Free (sub)domains providers
Last month I haved registered 2 domains at Freenom and installed Wordpress. One domain has a single post and other one just the Wordpress shell. No traffic at all apart from my visits. So far no warnings or anything.

Also I have requested a sub domain from eu.org but havent heard from since then. I think its becoming a dead project.

I suggest you better add some content in your Freenom site if you want to keep the domain. I did install Wordpress without any post before and the domain was then deleted by Freenom staff later. Use it at your own risk.

And eu.org is not dead. You may see here: https://freevps.us/thread-20387.html
Stay away from freedns.afraid.org!

Yesterday I added a domain from their free subdomain database and pointed an A and an AAAA record to a VPS I just got to use as a VPN. All was fine yesterday. I couldn't start using the domain due to the time it takes for the DNS records to update. So I signed into the VPS control panel and just shutdown the VPS meanwhile. It was late so... Today I went to check how far the DNS records are and found them to be blackholed to 127.0.0.2. That is what the freedns.afraid.org guys do when they suspend accounts and their domains. I've learned that from before already.

I went to the site and tried to login with my account. After login I got yet another really nice message saying to me "Description: Account closed!". No idea what to start with that. This is already the fifth time. And they still didn't answer to any of my e-mails about the other account closure incidents. Sorry but their service is just crap.

What could be the reason for all of this? I just only added two of five DNS records to a free and public subdomain of their service. The server to that the domain was pointed was inactive while I waited for DNS to be ready. Absolutely nothing that I've done was against any of their terms or conditions.

Their domains are pretty much useless as much as Freenom domains are because their domains are used for phishing, malware distribution, illegal public Windows KMS activation servers, hacking sites, DDoS distribution (C&C server addresses) and much more nasty stuff that is running on the public Internet and not behind Tor. Hence why barely any of the domains is listed on Google or elsewhere. A lot of the domains even trigger AV warnings or browser malware protection.

Stop using them! Save yourself the trouble.

My freedns account was suspended couple of weeks ago due to unknown reasons, but after containting them my account was unlocked ,It took about 2 days

Are there any other usefull subdomains , since eu.org no longer accept subdomains directly under eu.org, and there are lot of abuse with freenome and freedns subdomain
